Like a lot of other businesses last week, Acorn Care took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. People and businesses all over the UK hosted their own Coffee Morning aiming to contribute as much as possible towards beating the incredible amount raised in 2018 when the contributions topped £26,914,382.

The first ever MacMillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990, and although we didn’t do it that year, we have been doing it for a number of years. We think it’s the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause.

One in two of us will face cancer, and the money raised from the Coffee Mornings help people living with cancer to live life as fully as they can. Coffee Mornings have raised over £200 million for MacMillan over the years and we are pleased that our £204.13 will be contributed to the total this year.
